The Flotilla's typical uniform of the day is Tropical Blue or Operational Dress Uniform (ODU). New Auxiliarists and those transferring to the Flotilla need to ensure they have both. ODU is required for operational work, particularly on the water or in circumstances where the uniform may become dirty; either uniform is generally acceptable for office work, classroom training, meetings, and monthly all-hands.
Dress uniforms, including Service Dress Blue, should be obtained as required for your specific duties or service needs. The information below is comprehensive, and should be used as a reference when ordering uniforms; complete uniform regulations are found in the Auxiliary Manual, Chapter 10.
Most uniform items are available from the District 5SR (D5SR) Material Center or the Uniform Distribution Center (UDC). Valid USCG ID number is required to order. Remember to reference the sizing charts (click appropriate link on left-hand side) when ordering any shirts, pants, and covers. EXPEDITED SHIPPING is highly recommended when ordering from UDC; you must be logged into the UDC website in order for the links to that site to function properly. Tailoring of some clothing items will be required.
